Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC / EMI) Our
specialty! The control of radio emissions and radio interference as
well as product susceptibility to strong radio energy from local
transmitters. RTCE can advise at all stages of product development
to help solve EMC problems (or avoid them in the first place).
Solutions at the PCB level can be created, as well as filtering and
shielding solutions at the product level. Your product can be fully
tested in our 3 meter anechoic chamber for radiated emissions,
conducted emissions, radiated susceptibility and conducted
susceptibility. We have emissions coverage from 10kHz to 18 GHz, and
susceptibility (immunity) up to 8.5 V/M (10kHz to 1 GHz). For
EMI troubleshooting, our chamber features a
5 foot wide screen on
which real time pass/fail results are projected.

modify products and packaging to comply with global ESD requirements

Lightning Surge and Electrically Fast Transients (EFT)
RTCE is experienced in hardening products against the surges and
transients that routinely ride in on communications and power wiring,
as well as any long cable span.
Power Fault / Power Cross RTCE can design physical
layer interfaces that comply with UL, IEC, ETSI, IEEE, and Telcordia
